Eight Glasses of Water a Day? Its a Myth SHOCKER!!!!!!
This was the LEAD story on our 11 o'clock news last night. They had a lady in a lab coat explain that you don't have to drink 8 glasses of water a day cause you get some water from food too. Then a different lady sat in front of a running tap and told us that once she drank loads of water and it made her ill. So be careful with that water.

I was very brave this weekend and took me and my bike on a trip to Airlie Gardens. Was very pretty and only had to go on a big scary road for a litttle bit. Most of the way was along a quiet back road with trailer parks on it. Nice gardens lots of azaleas and camelias appartently. Also a couple of weddings going on but no sign of the brides while i was there. How rude.

Friday night had annother trip to Rum Runners. Was a good laugh although was very scared when they started singing 4 or 5 different versions of Yay America is great, i'm so proud to be American, If only the whole world could be like America type songs. All started with a quick bout of that dixie song but then there was all the U.S.A.U.S.A. chanting which was quite disturbing really.

annother story from XFm
The Worst Songs Ever List Revealed
US magazine Blender have revealed their Top 50 Worst Songs Ever Written. For the UK Right Said Fred ‘I’m Too Sexy’ get in at number 49 and Genesis ‘Illegal Alien’ at 13. European acts also generally score pretty well with Europe’s ‘Final Countdown’ (27), Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ (33) and Ricky Martin's ‘She Bangs’ (39) all getting in the Top 50.

The full top ten is….

1. ‘We Built This City (On Rock And Roll)’ Starship
2. ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ Billy Ray Cyrus
3. ‘Everybody Have Fun Tonight’ Wang Chung
4. ‘Rollin'’ Limp Bizkit
5. ‘Ice Ice Baby’ Vanilla Ice
6. ‘The Heart of Rock & Roll’ Huey Lewis and the News
7. ‘Don't Worry Be Happy’ Bobby McFerrin
8. ‘Party All the Time’ Eddie Murphy
9. ‘American Life’ Madonna
10. ‘Ebony and Ivory’ Paul McCartney And Stevie Wonder.

Blender describes the we built this city as “Sounding less like a song than something built in a lab by record company executives”, and sounding like "The truly horrible sound of a band taking the corporate dollar while sneering at those who take the corporate dollar.” E.g. The lyric “Who cares they’re always changing corporation names.” from a million selling major label band that changed their name three times.

American Idol was on last night, having been postpostened from tuesday night while Mr Bush made a speech. Quentin Tarentino was a guest judge cause it was a movie song night and Kill bill 2's out this weekend. He was mostly very nice to everyone but at least he slagged one of them off. They all told us their fave movies which included Dead Poet's, Sister Act 2, Lilo and Stitch, Bowfinger a couple for finding Nemo and one for Aladin. The songs were of course a nice selection of Phil Collins, Celine and Whitney. Why do I watch this? They also keep trying to teach people how to text. The girl from NC got told her warbling version of summertime was the best song on American Idol, EVER! At least they didn;t claim it was the best song in the world, EVER! That'll be next week no doubt.

I read in my music magazine, which still hasn't sent me the april/march issue, about this website. It has lots of games to play like pacman and stuff. there's a platform type one where you collect PBR which I think is very rough beer. dandy warhols

Who doesn't love horses?I was reminded of this last night in the pub when Leslie and me were singing this song. Do you love horses? They are, I'm told, the best of all the animals. If you love horses and they are your friends hear a song all about it here and you can now download the MP3 of the tune. HORAY!!!
I love Horses

Miss Missouri getting her Miss USA tiara! How exciting I got to see the Miss USA contest last night. How they stretched it out to 2 hours I'm not sure. It was a very odd show with rubbish music. My fave was Miss Oklahoma, she was doing so well but then sadly there came a point where she had to open her mouth and it all went wrong. She told us proudly if she could have dinner with anyone living or dead it'd be J trousersnake. The lovely Miss Missouri won in the end after her great showing in the many taxing rounds including, wearing a dress, wearing a bikini and TALKING!! The lovely Miss South Carolina came 2nd with Miss North Carolina 3rd. We were soooo close!

Big news!!! Hollyoaks set for 'biggest ever soap massacre'
The big Hollyoaks character cull is on its way and they're getting shot of Chloe again, how sad, and I see that Debbie's leaving too.

me and my driving licenceWell its not been a bad 24 hours. Chelsea knocked the Arse out of Europe, we would have won the pub quiz (they didn't have ferrets as a type of animal whose baby is called a Kit and they claimed Blue Monday was by The Cure) and I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! Who'd have thunk it? Brilliant!!!

A typical Wilmington GalLast weekend was the North Carolina Azalea Festival. I'm not sure what its all about really but there was a parade that i saw on tv downtown which had lots of high school marching bands and beauty queens. I went downtown to see all the stalls they set up which was cool. Lots of crafty things and bad food. I had some funnel cake which was like a plate of doughnut all squished down and covered with sugar. Even more exciting was the shagging contest they had, Shagging on the Cape I didn't enter but I did pop in and have a look. Also a bit disturbing was the "pro life" stall they had there, was nice to see they'd put them as far out of the way as possible at least. We ran away as quick as possible.

"A cloud of sadness passed over the sunny skies of Las Vegas yesterday morning as the landmark 'Siegfried & Roy' marquee was taken down. For 14 years the faces of the illusionist duo beamed out at passersby of the Mirage Hotel & Casino. Now, nearly six months after ROY HORN was severely injured by a white tiger while onstage, 'Siegfried & Roy''s reign over the Vegas strip appears to be, at least temporarily, over. Replacing the sign will be one promoting impressionist DANNY GANS' show, along with Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and the Dolphin Habitat attraction."ETonline.com:
